When I saw this yearling black bear he was spending a lot of time up in this tree. Recently on his own, away from mom's protection, up in a tree is a good place to relax.

This is a limited edition print of an original watercolor I painted titled "Yearling". It is printed by Imageworks in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It has been proofed and color corrected. I love how the print picks up the texture of the original watercolor paper. The print has a matte quality that replicates a watercolor painting beautifully.
